I carried on round some of the dealers today – looking for those items that I think will make my collection or display better – never complete. How I wish that I had remembered to print off my wants list or even my list of what I have. It’s not the first time that I have heard that today.
I also got my first look at the displays. It is not easy with my eyesight to see the top rows and my knees aren’t keen on my getting down to see the bottom rows and the light is not great – but the material was well worth struggling to see and to understand. How the judges sort out the marks and the relative positions is beyond me.
Tomorrow some more shopping and I can go for a sit-down in the Reading Room. I hope that there is something that I can understand. What will I learn?
