The final day – unless you are helping with the clear-up. Most of that was done in the late afternoon but there will be some dealers and volunteers working late and then doing more on Sunday to hand back competition entries and get the BDC ready for the next users.
My time was spent on a last look at the various winners of the classes, still on display until noon, then a final trawl of the dealers – no last-minute purchase this time – and then saying farewell to friends, old and new, before helping to demolish the ABPS stand
It has been a great show – we could have done with more visitors and even dealers but those that I spoke to have been basically content. Children at Stamp Active appeared today but not in great numbers. They were still full of enthusiasm – great to see.
I am back home now, exhausted, foot-sore and ready for a rest. I can spend some time dealing with my purchases – see you at the next show?
