This entry illustrates the development of airmail services from the Sudan and Egypt to Kenya, Uganda and Tanganyika under the auspices of the Air Ministry and the colonial governments during the period from 1927 to the end of 1931 when East Africa ceased to be a terminal destination for Imperial Airways services.
