The new year marks the centenary of the International Federation of Philately (Fédération Internationale de Philatélie, FIP).
To commemorate this milestone, the FIP has produced a centenary website, which brings together two valuable archives: the Minutes of the FIP Congresses and the Flash journal. The website also includes a digital version of F.I.P. Origin and Evolution, by Léon Pütz. Although first published in 1984, this work remains an invaluable account of the early history of the FIP.
President Chirakiti acknowledges the contributions of all involved, with special mention of Christopher King RDP, Scott Tiffney, Ms Marian Mills, Ms Nicola Davies, Charles Verge RDP, Bernard Jimenez RDP, Aldo Samamé y Samamé, Ms Marie-Louise Heiri, Ms André Trommer-Schiltz and Ms Kelly Ong.
