The book by Senior Curator Douglas N. Muir titled Just Large Enough, A Guide to The Postal Museum’s Philatelic Collections will be published on 19 February.
The lavishly illustrated, 300-page book takes the reader through the many highlights of the philatelic collections of The Postal Museum. Based on more than 30 years’ experience and new research, the publication features new information and illustrations published for the first time.

Douglas N. Muir, Senior Curator of Philately at The Postal Museum, with more than thirty years’ experience of the collections, is a signatory of the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists and the Book of Scottish Philatelists.
He is the author of several standard works on the history of the stamps of the United Kingdom, from Postal Reform & the Penny Black through George V & the G.P.O. to A Timeless Classic: the evolution of Machin’s icon.
