The hotel booked for the event is the Crowne Plaza. Already the Congress committee have been joined by local members who will help in the planning of the event. SUMMARY:UK Northern National Exhibition 2021 PERTH  **CANCELLED** Competitions now a virtual event**
DESCRIPTION:Planning is underway with the Association of Scottish Philatelic Societies (ASPS) to repeat what was done in 2019. The Northern National Competition for 2021 will be held alongside the Scottish Congress at Perth on 16/17 April 2021. This will of course depend on the Covid-19 situation allowing the Congress to take place there as normal. \nAs in 2019 Northern National entries will need to be submitted through the ABPS website and the relevant entry fee paid to ABPS. Entries can be accepted now and the closing date will be 1 March 2021.  Those members of ASPS affiliated societies who wish to submit an entry to both the ASPS competitions and to the UK National will have to enter both competitions separately. They will need to submit their actual entries to the ASPS National Exhibition Secretary by the deadline stated on the ASPS entry form for Perth to allow judging for those competitions to take place. These entries will then be held safely and delivered to the UK National Bin Room at Perth in time for mounting and judging. Such entries will have photocopies mounted in the ASPS frames at Perth with actual entries being mounted in the UK National frames. \nDetails of how to submit entries for the Scottish competition will in due course be found on the Congress page of the ASAPS website at Congress Main Page (scottishphilately.co.uk) Likewise to enter the UK National the entries must be submitted on the Exhibiting drop-down menu on the ABPS website www.abps.org.uk. \nAny entries submitted to the Northern Exhibition may\, on request\, be displayed on-lineas part of the Virtual STAMPEX Exhibition at no extra charge. \nPlease note that competitive entries will count towards qualification and entry into FEPA and FIP International Exhibitions.

SUMMARY:Virtual STAMPEX 2021
DESCRIPTION:The Philatelic Traders’ Society has announced that the planned Spring STAMPEX 2021 will now not be taking place because of continuing restrictions due to the Corvid-19 virus.  Instead\, a virtual exhibition will now take place from 25 to 27 March 2021. A non-competitive exhibition will now be held\, and anyone interested in entering should enter in the usual way by following the registration link on the Exhibiting drop-down menu on the ABPS website www.abps.org.uk. The closing date for entries and submitting scanned exhibits is 28 February 2021. Exhibits will remain open for viewing on-line until 30 April 2021.
