SUMMARY:Amersham Philatelic Fair
DESCRIPTION:A new philatelic fair is to start in Amersham. \nMike Consden\, a life-long stamp collector who turned his hobby into a business over 25 years ago\, is to open the first of The Amersham Philatelic Fairs on Saturday 16 April from 8.30am – 12.30pm. It will be in the newly built Scout Hall\, Rectory Hill\, Amersham\, Bucks HP7 0BT which has a spacious hall\, ample free parking and is just a few minutes from Amersham Station. Admission is free and refreshments will be available. \nMike realises the frustrations of local collectors who currently have no local philatelic fairs. With live auctions being few and far between and the limitations of online auction sites which can only show you what you’re buying after you’ve paid\, he anticipates that the introduction of an Amersham Fair will be welcomed and supported. \nWith half a dozen dealers attending\, the chances of finding something that you want will be high\, but if you can’t find anything\, you need only ask one of the dealers to seek it out for you elsewhere within the trade. \nFor further details/queries\, contact Mike Consden at watermarks.mike@aol.com or 07503 228375.
