SUMMARY:Norwich Stamp Fair
DESCRIPTION:At a new venue but an extended range of National and local dealers will have stands. Supplemented by the popular Society ‘Private treaty’ stand\, with a huge range of priced lots direct from collectors.\nGreat Britain\, Commonwealth and Foreign stamps for sale alongside some postal history.\nTo encourage juniors\, a free packet of stamps will be given to all visitors aged fifteen or under. A philatelic raffle is also planned\, with prizes more suited to adult collectors.\nOur new venue at the City Of Norwich School has easy access for motorists and by bus. Eaton Road connects Ipswich Road and Newmarket Road\, directly off these main routes into Norwich from the South. Several frequent bus routes travel along those roads from the City centre. Then a short walk along Eaton Road\, will reach the school site.\nFree parking on site and light refreshments on sale.

Since then\, it has grown steadily\, and now has more than 850 members in the UK and abroad. The Society deals with all aspects of GB philately\, and has contributed much to the field; this is certain to continue as new members with fresh ideas join. \nThe GBPS is the UK’s leading Society for anyone interested in GB philately including stamps\, postal history\, booklets\, postcards and more. It meets monthly in London (dependent on Covid restrictions at the moment) at the Royal Philatelic Society and there are also regional and Zoom meetings. \nThe GBPS produces a colour Journal\, accompanied by a Newsletter\, six times each year. Additionally\, a number of philatelic publications are sponsored by the Society. Their extensive website provides the latest news and information and resources for collectors such as historical information on postal rates\, copies of award-winning exhibits and much more. In addition\, consultants are available to help collectors with any queries they might have.
