DESCRIPTION:MBPC has its roots in the Great Britain Decimal Stamp Book Study Circle (GB DSB SC) established by Doug Myall in 1971. It continues to excel in that field despite a merger with the British Decimal Stamps Study Circle (BDSSC) in 2006 which led to a new name and a scope extended to cover all stamps and related material issued during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. The Circle now also covers the stamps of King Charles III. We welcome all philatelists whatever their level of collecting. A number of GB stamp dealers will be attending\, free parking and entrance

SUMMARY:Strand Stamp Fair
DESCRIPTION:The Strand Stamp Fair is held every other month at the Novotel London West Hammersmith\, London and is attended by stamp\, postal history and postcard dealers. Close to public transport and with an underground car park on site\, it is easy to get to. Entrance to the fair is free. Opening hours are from 9am to 3pm but we recommend you come early\, as some of the dealers attending travel long distances to get here and so leave before closing time. If you have a collection that you would like valued\, please bring it along. We look forward to seeing you!

Since then\, it has grown steadily\, and now has more than 850 members in the UK and abroad. The Society deals with all aspects of GB philately\, and has contributed much to the field; this is certain to continue as new members with fresh ideas join. \nThe GBPS is the UK’s leading Society for anyone interested in GB philately including stamps\, postal history\, booklets\, postcards and more. It meets monthly in London (dependent on Covid restrictions at the moment) at the Royal Philatelic Society and there are also regional and Zoom meetings. \nThe GBPS produces a colour Journal\, accompanied by a Newsletter\, six times each year. Additionally\, a number of philatelic publications are sponsored by the Society. Their extensive website provides the latest news and information and resources for collectors such as historical information on postal rates\, copies of award-winning exhibits and much more. In addition\, consultants are available to help collectors with any queries they might have.
